Privacy Policy
Last updated: 26 July 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how BlockGPT ("BlockGPT", "we", "us", or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects your personal information when you use the BlockGPT website at blockgpt.ai and our related tools and services (together, the "Service"). We handle personal information in accordance with the Australian Privacy Principles (APPs) under the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth), and we describe below the additional rights that may apply to you if you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or California.
By using the Service, you agree to the collection and use of information in accordance with this policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.
1. Information we collect
a. Information you provide
- Account information — when you create an account we collect your email address and a display name/username. If you sign in with Google or Discord, we receive your email, name, and profile picture from that provider.
- Prompts and content — the text prompts, images, and options you submit to generate Minecraft builds or 3D models, and the structures, models, mods, and files that are generated for you.
- Communications — messages you send us by email or through our Discord community.
b. Payment information
Payments are processed by our payment provider, Stripe. We do not collect or store your full card number or CVC — that information is provided directly to Stripe. We do store a Stripe customer identifier and records of your subscription, plan, billing cycle, payment history, and any promotional codes applied to your account.
c. Information collected automatically
- Usage data — build/generation counts, remaining credits, and how you interact with the Service.
- Device and log data — including your IP address and browser user-agent, which we record (for example) when you download a structure file, to help operate and secure the Service and to measure usage.
- Cookies and similar technologies — see the Cookies and Tracking section below.
2. How we use your information
- To provide, operate, and maintain the Service and your account;
- To generate the builds, models, and files you request;
- To process payments, subscriptions, and one-time purchases;
- To provide customer support and respond to your enquiries;
- To send you service and transactional messages (such as email verification, receipts, and important account notices);
- To understand and improve the Service, including through analytics;
- To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, security incidents, and technical issues; and
- To comply with our legal obligations and enforce our Terms.
Where you have signed in with Discord and chosen to, we may use that connection to add you to our Discord community server.
3. Third-party services we share data with
We share personal information with trusted service providers who process it on our behalf to run the Service. These include:
- Supabase — database, authentication, and file storage;
- Stripe — payment processing and subscription billing;
- Google Analytics — website analytics;
- Meta (Facebook) Pixel and Conversions API and X (Twitter) Pixel — advertising measurement and conversion tracking;
- Discord — community access and Discord sign-in.
We do not sell your personal information. We may disclose information if required by law, to enforce our Terms, or to protect the rights, property, or safety of BlockGPT, our users, or others. If BlockGPT is involved in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
4. International data transfers
BlockGPT serves users worldwide, and some of our service providers store or process data on servers located outside your country, including outside Australia. Where we transfer personal information overseas, we take reasonable steps to ensure it is handled consistently with this policy and applicable privacy laws.
5. Cookies and tracking
We use cookies and similar technologies to keep you signed in (including a session indicator shared across our subdomains), to remember a pending purchase during checkout, and to measure and analyse usage through the analytics and advertising tools listed above. You can control cookies through your browser settings, but disabling some cookies may affect how the Service works.
6. Data retention
We retain personal information for as long as your account is active or as needed to provide the Service, and afterwards for as long as necessary to comply with our legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information as described below.
7. Security
We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect your personal information against loss, misuse, and unauthorised access, including access controls and encryption in transit. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
8. Your rights and choices
Depending on where you live, you may have the right to access, correct, update, or delete your personal information, to object to or restrict certain processing, to withdraw consent, and to request a copy of your data in a portable format. Users in the EEA/UK have these rights under the GDPR/UK GDPR, and users in California have rights under the CCPA/CPRA, including the right not to be discriminated against for exercising them. Australian users may access and correct their information under the Australian Privacy Principles.
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at privacy@blockgpt.ai. We will respond within the timeframes required by applicable law.
9. Children's privacy
The Service is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you are under 18, you may use the Service only with the involvement and consent of a parent or guardian. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us and we will take steps to delete it.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will revise the "Last updated" date above and, where appropriate, notify you. Your continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated policy.
11. Contact us
If you have questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your personal information, or if you wish to make a privacy complaint, contact us at privacy@blockgpt.ai or support@blockgpt.ai. If you are not satisfied with our response, you may contact the Office of the Australian Information Commissioner (OAIC) at oaic.gov.au.
