Using minecraft 1.8.8 try to follow this image there should be a start, going to middle then doing mini mazzes to reach the goal. The map shouldnt be too big, but big enough to take players a few minutes to reach the end of it, the map should be a bunch of islands as shown, try to use oak leave blocks for the trees, also decorate the map with oak leaveblocks.
