At the center, everything revolves around a large circular building with a glass-like dome, very reminiscent of the Pantheon, but lighter and more modern. The dome is supported by a ring of tall, evenly spaced Roman columns, giving it that classic symmetry and authority. Leading up to it, there’s a broad staircase and a central axis, which is important. The whole composition is built around this straight, forward path. It pulls your eye directly to the entrance. On both sides, you’ve got long arcades of arches, but they’re not normal Roman arches. They stretch upward into these curved, blade-like futuristic ribs, almost like metallic wings growing out of the structure. That’s where the neo-futurism comes in.
